First Minister visits Rathfriland High School

7th May 2021

Rathfriland High School was delighted to welcome the First Minister to the school on Friday 30th April. The visit marked the occasion of the Northern Ireland Centenary and the school's sixtieth anniversary year. The First minister was welcomed by an accordion band and had the opportunity to meet with pupils and discuss the work they had been involved in across the curriculum in marking the centenary. The First minister also unveiled a mural, planted a tree and helped us bury a time capsule to mark the event.
