At Rathfriland High School we are always delighted to share in the success of our former pupils.
Taylor Scott has graduated from Queens University Belfast with an MPhys First Class (Hons) Degree in Theoretical Physics. Taylor was also presented with two additional awards beforehand, these included the Phillip Burke Memorial Award (this goes to the student placed first in the level 4 examinations in Advanced Quantum Mechanics), and a second award from the IMA (Institute of Mathematics and its Applications) this is given to the student who achieved an outstanding performance in their final year of mathematics studies.
Taylor has just recently accepted an offer from Queens University Belfast to undertake a 3yr PhD research project starting in October 2025.
