GCSE Geography Fieldwork
17th Jun 2025

The Year 11 GCSE Geography class were out doing data collection for their GCSE Fieldwork exam last week. The class spent Monday 2nd June out on the River Shimna taking measurements of various features along the river's course. It was a very busy day with five sites visited from Ott Mountain down to Tipperary Wood in Newcastle. The class will be working on processing and presenting the data for the remainder of the term. A special mention must go to several of the boys who donned waders and ensured that we were able to get all of the necessary data at each site, despite getting a little wet in the process!
