Some pupils in year 8 and 9 took part in the Maths challenge at the beginning of May. This was the first time that any pupils in Rathfriland High School had entered the challenge which many schools across the whole of the UK enter annually, it involved lots of mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency.
We are delighted with the effort put in by all pupils who entered, as a school we obtained 9 bronze certificates, one silver and one gold.
A huge congratulations to all pupils involved.
