School community devastated by the tragic loss of one of our pupils

5th Sep 2020

The whole school community is saddened to learn of the tragic death of one of our pupils.

We hope that the school would be given the privacy needed to support our pupils at this difficult time.

Pupils and staff have been informed and are being supported by professionals from the Education Authority Critical Incident Response Team. EA staff will return to school on Monday to continue to support our pupils. Parents have been provided with further information and sources of support by post.

Our thoughts and prayers are very much with the family at this difficult time and we will respect their wishes and privacy in the coming days.

If your child has been impacted by these tragic circumstances please be aware of the following helpline and remember your local health services, including your GP and out of hours GP service.
