Rathfriland High School Showjumping Team Jumping for Joy,
After finishing their league campaign in an impressive second place (75cm category), the Rathfriland High School showjumping team were back in action last month at the Meadows Equestrian Centre (MEC). The girls achieved a fantastic first place in the team event (75cms), with all four riders jumping clear rounds in a pace setting time of 77.32 seconds at the St. Patrick’s Day competition.
Having secured victory in the team event, Amelia Grant went on to win first place in the individual competition (75cm), jumping clear in a time of 28.84.
Well done to Lily Park, Lily Kinley, Kyra Patterson and Amelia Grant on such a fantastic performance.
