Congratulations to Rathfriland High School’s Showjumping Team on finishing second overall in the MEC Schools League Competition (75cms). The girls, in their first year jumping as a team, competed with skill and determination over the six round competition, with some impressive results, including first and second placing on individual weekends. This consistent high level of performance earned them second place overall in the seventy five centimetre team category. Well done to Lily, Lily, Grace and Kyra.
The girls also competed in the individual competitions, with Kyra finishing 8th, Grace 9th and Lily K. 11th in the seventy five centimetre section, with a field of over 130. Lily P. placed an impressive 13th in the eighty five centimetre section out of 109.
