Tayto Castle Trip
On Tuesday16th December, Year 11 Home Economics and Year 12 Business and Communication Systems (BCS) students came together for an exciting trip to Tayto Castle.
The day included an insightful factory tour and the chance to sample some of Tayto’s most popular products. To top it off, pupils even met the iconic Mr. Tayto himself!
For Home Economics students, this visit reinforced their recent studies on Food Provenance, Processing, and Production. Meanwhile, the BCS class explored marketing strategies—what better example than one of Northern Ireland’s most successful brands?
And if that wasn’t enough, we rounded off the day with a well-deserved KFC lunch before heading back to school.
A huge thank you from Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Budde to all pupils for their outstanding behaviour throughout the trip.
